In 1868, Henry K Webster rented a small grist mill in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and started the H.K. Webster Company, a business that would grow into one of the largest feed manufacturing companies in the Northeast, Blue Seal Feeds®, Inc.
Today, Blue Seal is a subsidiary of Muscatine Foods Corporation of Muscatine, Iowa. Headquartered in Londonderry, New Hampshire, the company operates nine manufacturing facilities throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic United States.
